Ray Davis avoided his small Kansas hometown for almost a decade. As a senior in high school, he narrowly escaped death in the bowels of Spooky Hollow, a place carved into the earth by evil itself. His attack became an unwilling chapter in local legend. A family tragedy forced Ray's return back to Arkansas City amidst the October flurry of the annual Arkalalah fall festival, which was a treasured homecoming for most.
