What happens when a grown man realizes that the fatherless little boy inside him is still carrying wounds from decades ago?
The Purpose Legacy is Elroy Johnson III's deeply personal, Christ-centered journey through fatherlessness, childhood wounds, failure, faith, purpose, fatherhood, and legacy.
Raised without the consistent presence of his father, Elroy carried questions and wounds into adulthood that achievement alone could not answer. Business success, entrepreneurship, family, ministry, hardship, and even failure would eventually become part of a much greater lesson: a painful beginning does not have to determine the legacy a person leaves behind.
Through personal testimony, biblical reflection, practical wisdom, and honest self-examination, The Purpose Legacy challenges readers to confront what shaped them without allowing it to define them. It calls men and women to discover their God-given purpose, break destructive generational patterns, become intentional about what they pass to their children, and recognize that true legacy is about far more than money or accomplishments.
Written especially with the fatherless, fathers, single parents, mentors, and those searching for purpose in mind, this book carries a message of hope: what was missing from your past does not have to remain missing from your future.
Ultimately, The Purpose Legacy points beyond the author's story to Jesus Christ-the One who can redeem wounds, restore purpose, and transform what one generation passes to the next.
Your beginning may explain some of your wounds. It does not have to determine your ending.
