The Passport Affair

Together, Robin and Eric decide they've had enough of the establishment. Pooling their assets, they surrender their jobs, buy a VW camper, and equip themselves like many other wanderers of the day.

Legally separated from his wife and having provided for his children, Eric leaves his life behind to join Robin in an adventure that will change them both. With their camper equipped for roughing it, they travel from the parks and forests of Washington and Oregon, down the coast of California, through Mexico and Central America. Along the way, they experience the beauty of their natural surroundings, fall deeply in love, and encounter some colorful characters - some friendly and some who place them in grave danger.
