The Hotel Guest is a compelling and sharp book, a total page-turner, and a masterful character study. The locations are stunningly painted, and so richly evoked it felt like I was sitting around the table with the characters, engaging in their discussions. It really tests the limits of philosophy, and explores how far a woman can be pushed before she falls off the edge. And the edge, it seems, is always calling. A must read!

I tore through this book, desperate to find out exactly what Kit and her increasingly sinister group of former friends were hiding. It's so evocative and atmospheric, a real page-turner which expertly peels back the layers of toxic friendship and rivalry
