This is a must read book for all the priviled white folks! (I am one too). It just really opens up your eyes about what kind of brutality and unfairness goes around in the black community. How is this even possible in the world we live in? We follow a girl's story, Starr, whose friend is murdered by a cop for no reason and the process that follows after that. I just wanna say that I admire Star's character, she is so brave and evolves so much throughout the book!
