Job lived in the land of Uz and was known as the greatest of all men for his integrity and wealth. He was a family man, and together with his wife, they raised seven sons and three daughters and bred a large stock of domestic animals that was sold at the market place. Jehovah God allowed Satan, in the role of the adversary, to activate a holocaust against innocent Job, destroying his family, health, and wealth.
