The Geraldine Principle

Aninka Lemasson lives in Connecticut with her family. She is first and foremost a reader who approaches reading the way most people stream shows-by mood and circumstance, with no urgency to finish on a schedule-which makes her a spectacular failure at book clubs. She's the type who reads so many books simultaneously that she forgets titles and authors but remembers exactly how each one made her feel. She listens to audiobooks while multitasking but saves the dense, rich ones for paper and single-minded focus. Her ideal reading moment: a comfy couch on a snowy Sunday morning before life intrudes. The average pile of books beside her bed is five high.
