Recenzii
Atmospheric, suspenseful and studded with interesting recipes, this is a compelling take on marriage, motherhood, love, and the sacrifices that women are routinely expected to make
Dazzlingly original, inserting elements of gothic horror and recipes into a murder mystery
Elegant, often scary and a terrific read
A blend of psychological thriller and body horror... Deliciously grotesque, and delightfully tangled in its plotting
Deliciously wicked... A thriller on another level, where you're satisfyingly uneasy in Maria's company - but it makes for all the more delectable read
[A] very moreish thriller
A domestic thriller dressed up as a lifestyle book, complete with recipes, personal confessions, and more than a pinch of unease. It's structured like a tasting menu, but one where every course hides something unsettling beneath the surface
Balancing gothic drama and grand guignolesque hints of terrors... The novel quickly moves into fifth gear and then sheer overdrive as the two women battle both mentally and physically. Wicked fun
A deliciously dark tale with a mouth-watering mystery at its heart - I devoured it in two sittings
A sizzling read sauced with scares galore and a side order of irresistible recipes
Deliciously dark and full of tasty twists guiding the reader a brilliantly shocking finale. This gets a banging five stars from me
Devilish, tense and exquisitely cooked up, The Dead Husband Cookbook is both nail-biting and deeply satisfying... A perfect blend of horror and suspense, peppered with apparently-innocent recipes. Delicious
So intriguing, I wanted to inhale the whole thing in a sitting. The Dead Husband Cookbook is as compulsive and moreish as a favourite meal. Thoroughly delicious
A deliciously dark and claustrophobia-inducing book with the bonus of some amazing-sounding recipes. I loved it
Sizzling with a glamorously Gothic setting, tantalizing twists and a premise that'll have you begging for seconds, The Dead Husband Cookbook is the depravedly delicious foodie thriller you never knew you needed... Valentine sets the table for a truly unique and mesmerizing read-sit down to dinner, if you dare
