Another well written mystery by Anna Katharine Green. This one involves Detective Gryce and Amelia Butterworth. A man is found dead in a circular room. The obvious suspect is his deaf and mute servant, but the detective and Miss Butterworth think there is more to the story. They slowly unravel the mystery by identifying the main characters and tracing their movements.
