In Technology for Classroom and Online Learning the authors provide a succinct overview of hardware, software, and computer networks for the classroom teacher. . . .Upon initial review it appeared this was going to be an academic text and hard to understand. On the contrary, although one of the authors is an engineer, the text was clearly written, making the concepts very accessible. . . .[T]his short book (187 pages) is an important introductory text for future classroom technology professionals or as a succinct reference source for practicing educators.
Overall, this book is useful for all educators and students who use computers and related technology. The technical information, supported with clear explanations and descriptions, makes this text easy to understand. It is a must read for lab teachers, computer coaches, and K-12 computer learners. Further, any novice in computers can read it and enhance his/her understanding of computer technology.
