Notă biografică

**Christopher Obst** is an author, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and behavioral health executive with extensive experience in mental health, addiction treatment, and clinical leadership.A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), where he earned his master's degree in Counseling and Clinical Health Psychology, Obst has worked across inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential addiction treatment programs, and outpatient behavioral health settings. His professional experience includes providing direct clinical care, supervising clinicians, and serving in executive leadership roles within the behavioral health field.Throughout his career, Obst has worked with individuals navigating trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and significant life transitions. His clinical background informs his practical, compassionate approach to understanding human behavior and the challenges of lasting change. He is the author of *Stop Starting Over: The Power of Pulling Forward*, a book that challenges the belief that setbacks erase progress. Through relatable stories, psychological insight, and honest reflection, Obst introduces a different way of approaching personal growth: recognizing what remains, learning from where you've been, and moving forward without repeatedly returning to zero. His writing combines professional knowledge with everyday human experience, offering readers an accessible alternative to traditional self-help advice. Rather than promising perfection or effortless transformation, he encourages a more realistic, sustainable approach to change.Through his writing and publishing work with Changeology, Obst continues to explore the intersection of psychology, personal development, resilience, and the everyday work of building a life worth living.
