Stahno the Space Explorer: Mission Point Press

Autor Lan H Reilly
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 14 iul 2026 – vârsta până la 12 ani
Creativity is about to take flight.

Stahno is a curious young Caspian seal with a homemade rocket and an adventurous spirit. As he explores remarkable new planets, he discovers worlds missing the very ideas that bring art to life. With every stop, he meets unforgettable characters, solves creative challenges, and helps each world see things in a whole new way.

From bringing color to a gray world to helping flat walruses discover depth, every adventure is filled with humor, heart, and surprising discoveries that inspire children to think creatively and see the world through an artist's eyes.

Without ever feeling like a lesson, young readers discover how artists use color, light, shape, and perspective to understand the world around them, making foundational art concepts both meaningful and memorable.

Perfect for young artists, curious explorers, classrooms, and homeschool families, Stahno the Space Explorer is a story children will enjoy today and continue discovering as they grow, inspiring creativity long after the final page.

Notă biografică

After recently completing Abe the Caterpillar, Lan H. Reilly, a self-taught artist, was inspired to write her next book, Stahno the Space Explorer, hoping to cultivate a love for arts among her young audience. She was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and spent most of her childhood there. In 1975, she was evacuated with her family from the US Embassy and settled in Wisconsin. She later earned her Engineering degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She met her husband while working in Minneapolis, then relocated to Michigan to raise their three children and one land "seal," an English Setter.
