Notă biografică
Edward Krawczyk has been a PADI Course Director since 2003. In his first career with a major corporation supervising engineering projects all over the world, he always felt drawn to the sea. He earned his first PADI scuba diving certification during a 3-year assignment in Cartagena, Spain. On his first dive, he knew he had found the sport he loved most, and when he returned to the USA in 1992 he became a PADI instructor. Eventually, together with his wife Marge - also a scuba instructor - they founded Calypso Tampa, which became PADI's flagship 5-Star Instructor Development Center (IDC) in the Tampa Bay region. Since then and for nearly two decades, Calypso Tampa has certified thousands of PADI scuba divers in Florida's famous freshwater springs. Edward Zellem is a retired U.S. Navy captain who served on active duty worldwide for 30 years. An accomplished author and linguist, he has won 12 international book awards for three books published in 18 languages. He is an active PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) and achieved his first PADI scuba certification in a cold, dark Pennsylvania quarry in 1986. Since then, he has dove in a variety of aquatic environments all over the world.
