Young Michael goes to sleep dreaming of a snow day, only to awaken to bare roads and clear skies. He heads to school in his clunky, black snow boots and prepares for an ordinary day in the classroom. About halfway through the day, though, the storm hits and the snow piles up, making it impossible for anyone to leave.
