Notă biografică
Madeleine Grigg-Damberger, MD, is Professor of Neurology at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque. She serves as Vice Chair for Faculty Development and Mentoring, Associate Director of the Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory, and Associate Program Director of the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship. Board-certified in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, Sleep Medicine, and Epilepsy, she has played a national leadership role in developing sleep medicine certification and polysomnography scoring criteria. An associate editor for leading journals, she is a widely published author and internationally recognized educator, and recipient of multiple teaching awards, including the 2020 AASM Excellence in Education Award.David C. Earl II, MD, PharmD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He is board-certified in Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine and completed both residency andfellowship training at UNM. Dr. Earl also holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and previously served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service. His academic and clinical interests focus on the intersection of sleep disorders and psychiatric illness. He is actively involved in medical education and has published and presented nationally on sleep apnea, restorative sleep, obesity, and related topics.Kathy Wolfe, MD, is a board-certified child neurologist and sleep medicine physician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She completed her medical degree and a master's degree in Neuroscience and Cellular Biology at the University of Texas Medical Branch, followed by residency training in Child Neurology and a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at UNM. Dr. Wolfe is passionate about neonatal sleep medicine and caring for underserved populations, and she regularly provides outreach care to rural communities throughout NewMexico, integrating child neurology and sleep medicine across diverse clinical settings.Nicholas Cutrufello, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine and sleep medicine physician practicing within the New Mexico Veterans Affairs Health Care System. He completed medical school at the University of Miami, an internal medicine residency at the University of New Mexico, and a sleep medicine fellowship at UNM. Since 2017, he has served as Associate Program Director of the UNM Sleep Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Cutrufello's clinical and academic interests include ventilatory disorders related to neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disease, altitude-related sleep disruption, and sleep technologist education. He regularly presents at state and national meetings.
