Suman Kathuria is a well-travelled amateur Nikonian with a keen interest in nature and history. For more than twenty years, she has photographed diverse locations across the globe, including UNESCO world heritage sites, urban cityscapes and national parks in the United States and Canada. Suman has frequently travelled to Singapore over the past ten years. She has explored the nooks and crannies of the city-state during her frequent visits, taking thousands of photographs. During her stay in 2021, while quarantined for two weeks in a hotel, she conceived the idea to publish this book. This book is a souvenir and photo guide for all who want to delve into beautiful Singapore. Suman holds a Ph.D. in microbiology and has served in senior leadership roles in the life sciences industry. She lives in Mississauga, Canada, with her husband, Jitendra.
