Notă biografică
Diana Patterson is an adventurer, sailor, diver, explorer, and lifelong seeker whose extraordinary life forms the foundation of She Pirate's GOLD - The Vision.A certified PADI Open Water SCUBA Instructor and experienced sailboat delivery crew member, Diana has spent decades on and beneath the water. Raised on the shores of the Great Lakes, she completed her first dive shortly after high school using SCUBA equipment gifted to her by her parents. Her love of the ocean eventually led her to sailboat deliveries throughout the Caribbean, including voyages from Florida to the British Virgin Islands, where she immersed herself in the world of sailing, diving, and maritime exploration.Inspired by the discovery of the Spanish galleon Nuestra Señora de Atocha, Diana made a decision that would shape the course of her life: she refused to let someone else's adventure become the greatest story she would ever tell. That commitment led her across more than thirty countries and remote islands around the world in pursuit of discovery, purpose, and the next horizon. Her professional journey has been equally diverse. Diana has worked in real estate in Hawaii, served as Event Production Manager for the Hawaii Festival of Arts, worked as Art Director for renowned surrealist artist John Pitre, and represented prominent artists through Wyland Galleries and Thomas Charles Galleries. She later served as Marketing Director for Invader Cruises in San Diego and produced humanitarian documentary projects through NicaPartners, helping raise awareness and support for international initiatives presented through Rotary International. Her adventures have placed her in remarkable circumstances, from working with the Makah Tribe of Washington's Olympic Peninsula during their historic whale hunt, to serving as cook aboard the expedition that captured the first underwater footage of the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald in Lake Superior. While Diana studied accounting, computer programming, marketing, and business administration, she considers travel, cultural immersion, and firsthand experience to be her greatest education. The lessons learned through decades of exploration, personal transformation, and spiritual awakening ultimately became the inspiration for She Pirate's GOLD - The Vision.Diana has completed the first book in the She Pirate's GOLD series, a memoir that combines adventure, treasure hunting, and spiritual transformation. Planned companion volumes include She Pirate's GOLD - Peyton Reigns, She Pirate's GOLD - The Reckoning, and She Pirate's GOLD - The Source.
