Recenzii

Ambitious and vibrant ... a heartbreaking exploration of the fierce entanglements of motherhood and personhood
Very powerful - a wonderfully thought-provoking, very moving novel that gets to the heart of what it is to be a woman in a world run by men
Patel weaves a darkly funny tale about the Indian diaspora living in the UAE, taking on convention and social expectation in ways that others have not dared to before
Searing and intimate, deeply personal and fiercely political - a profound meditation on womanhood
