Discover the inspiring story of Serena Williams, who became one of the greatest tennis champions in history.

Growing up in Compton, California, little Serena was just three years old when she first picked up a tennis racket. She trained every day with her sister, Venus, on run-down public courts. With determination, hard work, and self-belief, she went on to become the number one women’s player in the world, staying at the top of her sport for two decades and winning 23 Grand Slam singles titles and four Olympic golds.

However, Serena’s journey has not been without challenges. She has faced illness, injury, criticism, and racism throughout her career, but each time has come back stronger. Today, she is considered one of the greatest athletes of all time. Her story shows that big dreams can start small, and that strength comes from believing in yourself and never giving up.

This inspiring book features beautiful illustrations and¿extra facts at the back, including a biographical timeline with historical photos and a detailed profile of Serena’s life.
