Sisters, Eleanor and Marianne Dashwood, couldn't see the world more differently. Their opposing views become even more pronounced as their world begins to unravel, beginning with the death of their beloved father. In a society where widows and children are dependent on the kindness of their relations, it is most unfortunate that the Dashwood's closest relatives are considerably less than kind. Luckily, a distance cousin offers the mother and daughters an affordable situation far from their home and all that is familiar.
