There are no lessons in this book, only practice problems structured for self-grading: problem sets, answer keys, full solutions. Information for self-diagnostic includes difficulty level and topic for each problem. The book is not meant to be used independently for SAT preparation but as additional practice and diagnostic along with a 'core' book such as the Collegeboard blue book, Barron's, Princeton Review, and/or with the help of a tutor.
