When the Earth drifts into a region of space with different physical laws, the debris of human civilisation begins to self-assemble itself into machine life-forms which swiftly tear technological society apart. They are dubbed Self Replicating Machines: SRMs. There are 5 theories of why they exist, from alien invasion to God.
