ALASTAIR KOCHO-WILLIAMS completed his PhD at the University of Manchester, UK, in 2006. He was Lecturer in Soviet History at the University of Leeds, UK, before taking up the post of Senior Lecturer in International and Soviet History at the University of the West of England, UK.
