There was a time in my life when I was troubled on every side. For many years, I entertained the thought that I was sent to this world to suffer, but Jesus came and showed me that amidst adversity, a life of hope, joy, and peace is possible. I am alive today because of God's mercy and compassionate care.


Like a rose among thorns, life does come with challenges of various sorts, but as the flowers bloom amidst the thorns, the sun rises night after night, the stars shine in the dark sky, so we too may flourish amidst the complexities of life and experience a blessed and fulfilled life.


Roses Among Thorns is my message of hope. During most of my young adult life as a single mother of four young children, with God's grace guiding and directing my journey, I crawled, wept, and fought my way to victory. The Holy Spirit showed me how to use obstacles as steppingstones, and pain for my gain. It is impossible to change the past, but we can move forward to hopeful living with Jesus Christ.
