Risk in Praxis is a reflexive reader for risk takers in managing the effect of uncertainty on the achievement of outcomes as either professional risk managers within an organization, or individual professionals managing risk within an organization. Risk in Praxis rests upon two assumptions: one, that risk is rational; and two, that the rationality of risk is reflexive in practice for the purpose of good change; that is, praxis. Risk is what we do to avoid the bad stuff, risks of threat; and seek the good stuff, risks of opportunity, whether as individual professionals on a hero’s journey of individuation, or risk professionals managing risk within the praxis of an organizational life cycle.
