Recenzii
Refreshingly non-jargony and full of (understandably) powerful and tragic illustrations, Resistance draws on documented sources as well as Tec's own interviews with survivors.
This enlightening book is a carefully argued and cleverly assembled discussion that challenges stereotypes about Jewish resistance in the Second World War
Tec's book presents an excellent overview of the Jewish and non- Jewish resistance activities during the Second World War, at the time when the desperate situation led the victims of the Nazi persecution to commit desperate acts.
a rare form of resistance finally gaining the attention in Holocaust scholarship it has always deserved.
