It is the first and still the only volume to attempt such breadth, and as such it is an extremely important contribution to scholars and teachers with a central or even a passing interest in lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender studies in religion. Many of the articles are accessible for the introductory college level or even high school, while others are sophisticated enough to prove useful to graduate students. A useful reference and sourcebook.
This is a very useful anthology for the study of religion, gender and sexuality.
