The first ever Landscape State-and- Transition Simulation Modeling Confrence was held from June 14-16, 2011, in Portland, Oregon. The confrence was hosted by Apex Resource Management Solutions and ESSA Technologies, in collaboration with the U.S. Forest Service, The Nature Conservancy, the Oregon University System's Institute for Natural Resources, and LANDFIRE project.
