Peas Help Me Lord is the creation of Shannon Stark. The stories surround the adventures and experiences of the Peas; children in an imaginary setting resembling the familiar vegetable. The Peas encounter common and uncommon problems and trials that face children in a troubled world. The primary resource that the peas fall to is our Lord and Savior Jesus. When they arrive at a place in which guidance and direction are needed, the peas pray, "Peas help me, Lord." The peas are lovingly cared for by the Pea Pod parents and teachers who instill wisdom, support, and love to help them navigate difficult issues and joyful solutions. As is so often the case, life's problems can sometimes be easier when we lean on and trust our Savior to shepherd us.
