One Question Deeper
Autor Williamsen Limba Engleză Paperback – 27 oct 2026
Fathers and sons can talk for a lifetime and still leave the most important things unsaid. The weather, the game, the car, the job: the easy channels stay open for decades while the real ones go quiet. One Question Deeper: Fathers & Sons was created for those conversations, the ones you keep meaning to have.
Inside are 280 questions and 560 follow-ups that move gradually from the easy and familiar to the things men often have the hardest time saying out loud. Across eight carefully sequenced sections, you'll revisit the boys you once were, the lessons you learned about being men, what one generation passed to the next, the need for approval and pride, old hurts, changing identities, and what you still want the other man to know. Questions are marked EASY, REAL, and DEEP so the conversation can build naturally instead of jumping straight to the hard part.
This is not a book for a father to use on his son. It is a book for fathers and sons to use together. Both men answer. Either may pass. Sometimes the father goes first. Sometimes the son does. Neither man automatically gets to be the teacher. Special moves let fathers and sons trade places, compare generations, and answer honestly, and a protected PASS means honesty is never forced.
The method is four moves. ASK a question you actually want answered. LISTEN to the whole answer. FOLLOW UP on what you actually heard. CONNECT by letting what you learned close some of the distance.
Take it on a drive. Bring it to dinner. Sit with it at a workbench, on a porch, beside the water, or anywhere two men have enough time to stay for the answer. It works between a father and a ten-year-old, a father and a forty-year-old, and every age in between, and it is a book to return to as both men change and grow older.
For everything you have never quite said. Two men. One lifetime.
