No Roses for Abby

After travelling to England and meeting Simon's family, Abby plans for their future together. Her happiness is short lived when Simon is killed while on consignment as a war correspondent in Angola. Abby had never fully understood what Simon did for a living and is both angry and devastated by her loss. Simon's closest fiend Jim, helps Abby to recover from Simon's death but soon realizes he is falling in love with her. Eventually they marry, forming a family of four with Abby's daughter, Kate and Jim's daughter, Kelly but the family is only complete when they welcome a son into the world and name him Simon.
