This short novel follows the rise and fall of Tony Sicily, a young Cuban immigrant who makes his way to Miami and later becomes successful in the shadowy world of cigarette importation and sale. The story opens with young Tony coming to Florida and jumps to his lucrative business. Readers meet Tonys business associates, his wife and other sexual partners, his two-timing lawyer, and the Federal agents who eventually entrap Tony in a sting operation.
