My Name Is Davis

When coordinated attacks decimate the leadership of America's greatest adversaries, the world turns its eyes toward Washington and waits for the United States to answer. Instead, a political earthquake follows: the president resigns, the cabinet falls with him, and Walker Kaye, an appliance repairman and school board president from Iowa, is thrust into the Oval Office.

Walker's blunt honesty makes him a national phenomenon. His refusal to play partisan games makes him dangerous. But as he works to steady a terrified country and prevent global war, he discovers his rise was no accident. A hidden organization has engineered the chaos, installed him as its instrument, and built a new world order on blood.

Now Walker must decide whether peace purchased through murder is peace at all-and whether one ordinary man can outmaneuver the architects who put him in power.
