The Millie Chronicles teaches inclusion through elementary school appropriate content. The series touches on topics such as diversity, special needs, and cultural awareness, while promoting social and emotional learning. The first book in the series, titled My Exceptional Friends, introduces Millie and her friends and family. Each character has a unique story to tell and so much to offer their readers. Throughout the series we will become more familiar with these characters and what makes them so exceptional. We will experience their challenges and accomplishments with them, and expand the way we see the world around us. It's truly is a series for every child!
