ANTHONY KNOPPS is an Emmy-Award winning storyteller who is living a second life. That's because in July of 2019 he sustained a traumatic brain injury after the car he was in was hit by a distracted driver. He "beat the odds" which said he only had a 21% chance of survival. The idea behind "My Daddy has a Headache" grew out of conversations with his medical team about the challenging nature of these injuries and how to inform young minds about them. Part of Anthony's recovery, which continues today, was an unrelenting focus to turn each moment into a new opportunity to make a difference. That's why 100% of the proceeds from this book will go to a scholarship fund for children of soldiers with traumatic brain injuries.
