Since opening his new hit restaurant in historic Harlem, Billy's career has skyrocketed. And just to make things interesting, the finale of Billy's hit streaming show, The Ultimate Menu, is being filmed--on-site--during the same crazed week.
But when his old NYPD buddy, retired detective Deacon Solomon, asks him to help a friend out there, worried about someone who went missing late one night ... well, favors for friends? In Billy's world, that's what you do.
Soon he is going behind the scenes of the twenty-four-hour megacasinos and the ultraluxury hotels, and even traveling out to the endless desert that surrounds the oasis of gambling, quickly learning what appears to be a missing person case, plain and simple, is something far more than that. And may even be deadly.
Billy finds himself dodging all sorts of powerful people who very much insist he stop asking questions. Or else ...
But he needs to peel back each layer of this intriguing mystery to do the impossible: open his bistro at the top of Sin City's newest luxury hotel, host the show's big finale, and, yes, uncover who murdered someone and is--that very night--about to do it again. With the clock ticking.
Billy, as always, just can't resist a good unsolved crime. In Murder by Chance we can jump on this funny and thrilling ride with him, all the way to the breathless and wildly unexpected ending.
