Mount Afurika

I was born in 1968 and grew up in the rural areas of Zimbabwe up until my early primary education which was partly disturbed by the war of liberation. My family moved into the city of Harare where I did part of my primary education, secondary education and a diploma in theology. I studied English and Communication studies with Zimbabwe Open University. I worked in the United Methodist Church, and two local Christian-based humanitarian organisations in Zimbabwe which focussed on HIV/AIDS and community development work. I have moved to the United States of America to study Master of Arts in Leadership with Asbury Theological Seminary. I am married to Middiah, and we have two children; Tsitsi and Tungamirai.
