Anjolii Diaz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychological Science at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She earned her PhD in Biological & Developmental Psychology at Virginia Tech and has been teaching psychology courses for over 15 years at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Beyond teaching motivation and emotion, she has also taught courses on the psychology of learning, lifespan development, and memory and cognitive processes. Additionally, she enjoys teaching research seminars and professional development courses. Professor Diaz’s research focuses on emotions throughout development and their role in various cognitive, social, and academic behaviors, as well as factors (e.g., caregiving, sleep, resilience) that may influence these relations. She is also a council member for the Midwestern Psychological Association and a longtime member of the American Psychological Association.
Lambert Deckers is a professor emeritus of psychological science at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. His 45-year academic tenure consists of 40 years devoted to teaching motivation and emotion. He also taught courses in the psychology of learning and in the history and systems of psychology. Professor Deckers is a charter member of the Association for Psychological Science and a member of the Society for the Science of Motivation.
