Originally from Yorkshire, the author has lived in Cumbria since 2008, and has been a keen fell walker and amateur photographer for over 30 years. After encountering stile struggles of her own with Misty the Alsatian, and finding little around to help her find great places to walk, she decided to write a series of books with their favourite walks, which she hopes you will also enjoy!
