Mandana, four years of age, hand in hand with Hooshang, jumped over the brook. They were close friends in their youth, but grew up far from each other, until Mandana disappeared. Mandana had given her first name to her daughter, who resembled her in physical appearance, behavior and temper. They were intimate in the secret of their souls.
