The main objective of this book is to illustrate that; By using Artificial Intelligence Techniques(AI), Computerized applications can be developed with the capability of providing medical diagnosis for diseases such as Malaria. Malaria has ravaged and continues to ravage Africa. But through Content Based Image Retrieval Systems (CBIR), with the capabilities of medical images classification using AI, diagnosis of major diseases that requires microscopic observations can be automated.
