Syri Andersdatter has been accepted into the highly sought after program of Lynagea. Along with eleven other lucky and skilled graduates they earn the right to travel the world on behalf of the government to promote peace and understanding among each of the four unions and the twenty four countries they are composed of. While on their journey they realize everything is much different than what they were taught in school and the problems they face are trying their confidence in themselves and the government as a whole. When love blossoms amongst more and more of the team, friendships are strained. As they see more of the countries they realize that things tend to be getting worse rather than getting better, even with their help. Will Syri be able to swallow her pride as a member of a capital country or will she end up furthering union squabbles?
