The search for love is a pursuit every one of us can identify with. When love is found, the heart is overjoyed and liberated. But what happens to the spirit when love is lost? With the heart of a poet and the pen of a songwriter, Larry Norman McCollum presents his first tome of poetry. Comprised of a lifetime's worth of poetry and songs, "Love for All Mankind" is indeed a labor of love for McCollum, who intends to finish out his twilight years sharing his gift of writing with the world.
McCollum writes of the glorious nature of love found: "I fall to my knees every night and ask God why he has brought someone to me that I love with all my heart and soul. / What did I do to deserve such an angel from heaven?" and wistfully looks back at love lost: "Your touch was soft and gentle. / Your smile was a memory in my mind. / I guess I'll never find a love as true as the one I had with you. / And I'll always wonder why, how your heart turned blue."
A book of love-pursued, found, and lost-"Love for All Mankind" is full of poetry that touches the heart.
