Descriere
After reviewing the electron-liquid theory of metals, this text examines techniques useful in analyzing properties of real Fermi surfaces, which are rarely spherical. These techniques are then applied to concrete problems such as the anomalous skin effect, cyclotron resonance, attenuation of ultrasonic fields and dopplerons.
