Tres culturas mezcladas en la novela, Mexico, Los Estados Unidos de America y Espana, hacen que el lector la disfrute desde el principio al fi n. Notă biografică

Alila Barrera was born in Central Macareño, Camagüey province, Cuba in 1945. She studied Pathology Laboratory in Cuba in 1969. She arrived in the United States of America in the famous Mariel boatlift with her husband and two young daughters in 1980. She lived for two years in the state of New Jersey where she studied Cosmetology in 1982. Later she moved with her family to California, receiving her American citizenship on December 4, 1988. She graduated in computer science in 1995. She attended a program at MT. San Antonio College called H.A.G.A.S.E. which stands for 'Hispania's Achieving High Ambitions, Satisfaction and Success' in 1996. Her passion is writing and she has already published several books. The first titled "WHAT AN AMERICAN CANNOT SAY IN HIS OWN LAND" (2001) and the version of the same in the English language titled "What an American Can't Say in His Own Land" (2007). The poetry titled "Dreams and Melancholies" version in the English language (2008). Her first romantic novel titled: "The Mansion" (2012). "The Stories of Alila" in 2014 in digital form for Kindle. The consumerist novel titled "Doña María" in 2018. DEMOCRATS PLEASE, DO NOT HURT ME. WE ARE THE PEOPLE 2024. Alila lives happily with her family in the state of California and is the grandmother of four beautiful granddaughters and a great-grandson. She is a cancer survivor.
