Girls have an innate need to express themselves. The emotional chaos that a young girl, through facilitates the necessity to have somewhere to capture their thoughts, that is there's and there's alone. To have a place that is sacred and witnessed only by the girl, so that she feels safe in expressing what lays hidden inside. Young girls and teenagers, begin to feel the need to not depend on their parents to carry their emotional burdens as they learn to walk on their own two feet in the world. Girls need journals to learn to survive emotionally.
