Notă biografică
Maddy Mara is the pen name of the Melbourne-based creative duo Hilary Rogers and Meredith Badger. Hilary and Meredith have been collaborating on children's books for nearly two decades. Hilary is an author and former publishing director; Meredith is the author of countless books for kids and young adults, and teaches English as a foreign language. Maddy Mara is the melding of their respective daughters' names.
Noémie Gionet Landry grew up in a small coastal town in New Brunswick, Canada, never far from the ocean. Since childhood, she has been torn between two dreams: becoming a doctor and illustrating children’s books—and eventually chose both. Today she balances her life as a rheumatologist with her work in her home studio, where she draws and paints with her three kids often playing (or “helping”) nearby, and her cat supervising from a safe distance. She works both digitally and traditionally to create engaging illustrations, usually with a funny twist!
