You are cordially invited to the wedding of Richard Dwayne Morrow and Melanie Denise McGregor...
All heads turn as the opening refrain of Wagner's "Bridal Chorus" echoes throughout the spacious venue. The bride is a vision in white as she makes her grand entrance. The wedding party stands witness at the far end of the aisle as murmurs ripple through the appreciative crowd. Only one thing is missing.
Where's the groom?
After a long weekend of dueling bachelor/bachelorette parties, Dwayne and Melanie are counting the days 'til they finally say, "I do." Melanie is scheduled to help the Boggses as they move the Lymont office of Boggs Investigations into Loretta's house while Dwayne tends to a potential new client in Lancaster. Everything is going as planned until Dwayne drops off the face of the Earth.
Is it a matter of cold feet, or is it something far more nefarious?
When his SUV turns up abandoned, the police focus on the bloody shirt found inside. The blood is a match for Dwayne, and things are looking grim.
As the police focus on a surprising suspect, it's up to Melanie to find out what really happened to her man.
Happily ever after has never felt so far away...
Interception is the ninth incredible entry in the Dwayne Morrow Mystery series...but will it be the last?
