Inside the Book

I lost the path leading to the world and
followed the one into books instead.
It led me to a quiet place.
I'd rather stay here, for a lifetime.

There was a girl who dreamt of
a garden made of ink.
She did not forget the dream for
several lifetimes and
wrote it down in her first diary of
each life.

Leaves bud on a tree drawn in ink.
A bird sits on a branch.

About the Author
