During a string of neighborhood thefts, someone becomes obsessed with an antique ring owned by Connie Jones and decides, no matter what the cost, to possess it. Greed turns to murder, however, when someone else wants the ring more. While law enforcement agents unravel the mystery behind the thefts and murders, Connie Jones is trying to face her own demons. A widow of three years and a hoarder, her family and friends are trying desperately to help her come to grips with her depression and her inconsequential treasures.
